Ruby D. Wylie

Wylie, Ruby (Davis), 78, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday September 16, 2017 in Wichita. Ruby was born on October 30, 1938 in Mullen, NE, the daughter of James and Alta (Gailey) Davis. Ruby retired after 20 years in the aircraft industry. Ruby loved her flower garden, her dolls and her collectibles. She was also a devoted mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, son; Vincent Guerrero, husbands; Ignacio “Eddie” Guerrero, Thomas Wright, siblings; Jimmy Davis, Mary Simmons and Doris Hummer. Survivors include her loving children, Lisa (Terry) Kirkpatrick of Little Rock, AR, Troy (Racine) Wright of Wichita, Tyson Wright of Wichita, siblings, Marjorie Schmidt of Caldwell, KS, Nadene Nicholson of Maize, KS, Don (Shirley) Davis of Wichita, Jon Owen (Ann) Davis of Wichita, grandchildren, Melia and Mysti Kirkpatrick of Little Rock, AR. Visitation will be on Wednesday September 20, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday September 21, 2017 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will be held at Lakeview Cemetery with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 N. Market St., Wichita.
