Ruby Suvonia Mash Kennedy

Kennedy, Ruby Suvonia, 92, of Augusta, KS passed away on Tues. Sept. 9, 2014 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS. Ruby was born in Adona, AR the daughter of Marion and Minnie Mash. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing cards, fishing, quilting, and spending time with family and friends. Ruby has recently started attending Hope Community Church in Andover, KS. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, daughter Daphine Robbins, son, Jerry Thomas, 6 brothers, 2 sisters, and son-in-laws, Billy, Danny and Bob. Survivors include her, children, Montine (Melvin) Heinrich, Sue Thomas, Wanda Hattaway, Joyce Whitson, John (Patty) Thomas, Lynette (Richard) DuBois, Charles Kennedy, Brenda (Brad) Willour, 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Fri. Sept. 12, 2014 from 6:30 to 8pm. Funeral services for Ruby will be at 2pm on Sat. Sept. 13, 2014 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery in Furley, KS. Memorials have been established in her name and loving memory to the Victory In the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67218.
