Ruby was smart, kind to everyone and very independent. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening and her family. Ruby loved to listen to Elvis Presley sing, watch his movies and even went to Graceland several times; a Real Elvis Presley Fan!
She preceded in death by her parents, Hobart and Flora Davis; husband, James Hutcherson; brothers, James Davis and Wayne Davis; and great-grandson, Jessie Fischer-Stubbs.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Daryl) Stubbs of Wichita; sons, Jack (Ginger) Hutcherson and Jim Hutcherson both of Wichita; sister, Viola George of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Ruby will be held 2:00pm, Friday, February 25, 2022 with visitation 1 hour prior, both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
