Whitney, Roy M., 89, retired Boeing Modification Planner went to be with the Lord November 25, 2010. Preceded by wife Mary Ann Whitney and brother Louis Whitney. Survivors include sons Jack (Diane) Whitney of Wichita and Larry Whitney of Haysville; daughter Peggy Whitney of Florissant, CO; sister Kathleen (Vernon) Bateson of Wichita; and grandchildren Julia, Jared, and David Whitney. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at First Christian Church 7465 S. Meridian Haysville, KS 67060. Memorials can be made to First Christian Church of Haysville.
