Franklin, Roy “Frank”, H., 72, retired after 23 years of service from the United States Air Force and retired Sears Automotive mechanic, passed away peacefully, September 30th, 2014. Frank loved to go antiquing and enjoyed taking his grandchildren “treasure hunting” visiting garage sales as he drove through town. He liked to collect guns, was a hard worker, and a dedicated family man who would ensure that time was well spent with his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Larry Franklin, and parents, Claud and Nadine Franklin. Survived to cherish his memory his wife of 39 years Joy Franklin; son, Royce Franklin; daughter, Kerry Franklin; brother, John Franklin; sister, Claudia (Michael) Gonzalez; and grandchildren, Coral, Caressa, Royce Jr., Coda, and Angelique Franklin. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed. No services are scheduled. Condolences may be sent to 1624 E. Carolyn in c/o Royce Franklin.
