Born in Havana Alabama on July 28th, 1941 to Bertha. Rosie had 10 brothers and sisters, brothers John Abram Jr, Curtis Abram, and Jeremiah Abram; sisters Mary Elizabeth Thomas, Mary A Mckanney, Johnnie Mckanney, Ella May Winson, Shirley Ann McClain and Bertha Lee Reine.
Rosie Finished 8th grade then started her life of work after having her first child Jimmy at 15 years old.
Rosie survived by 4 out of 6 of her children, Jimmie Louis Cook would have been 62, Jessie Cook passed away at 60, Dorothy Jean Cook 58, Thomas Cook 57, Jerry Simpson 42, Rosa Diaz 41; 23 grandchildren; and 71 great grandchildren.

Rosie Simpson took pride in her work, she provided for her kids no matter how hard things were. Knowing she could be there for her children was the most important. Rosie not only gave her children love but also an understanding of what working hard for your family looks like and smiled while doing it.
Her beautiful smile and loving heart will be celebrated Friday, January, 24th 2020. Having her funeral on January 25th, 2020.
A visitation for Rosie will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Lakeview Chapel. A burial will occur Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Lakeview Cemetery.
