I find myself saying, "I'll have to tell Rose this.... " and then I feel so sad that you are no longer HERE to share things with, but you are in a BETTER PLACE, and your suffering is over. You are in my thoughts and prayers.  I will miss Rosemary at LCC. She was a big part of our activity program and an advocate for her peers. She will be missed

I will also remember you singing "I'm a Little Teapot' at the Scaia Family Reunion.  Rest in Peace!

Michael and family:  I too worked with your Mom at the Health Department. She was a very sweet and caring woman, always willing to help if it was needed; always had a smile for you.  She was happiest during Christmas season, and that Santa hat!!!

I also worked with Rosemary at the WSU Payroll department many years ago.  I seem to remember her buying you my saxophone that I never really learned to play.  I too remember her little hands crocheting during the lunch hour and her sharing her beautiful work of arts with us.  Yes, I also still have mine. I ran into her once when my mother was in re-hab.  She very happy and content in her room with all of her things around her.  She was a very delightful person to be around and always had a bubbling personality.

Michael,
I worked with your Mom @ the Health Department many years ago. When I think of her, I remember the Santa hat she wore every Christmas season and the cheery spirit she had to match. But, most importantly, how proud she was of you. My condolences.

Aunt Rose you will be greatly missed. She was the best aunt i have ever had. 
She made the best tuna and celery sandwiches. She helped my dad threw the hard times in his life. I really wish i would have been their to say goodbye but i know you are above me looking down and thinking wow she is a woderful young lady just like Frank Zalewski.

Rosemary was always a thoughtful, fun person whom our group always enjoyed.  On a Christmas bus trip she wore these little antlers on her head like a reindeer!  Always smiling and enjoying life.  I met her through her sister-in-law Mary and brother Don.
I am sorry I didn't visit her more often.  Sometimes we wait too long.

Not only was she a beloved and beautiful sister, but a wonderful Aunt as well. My heart is filled with many great memories of Aunt Rose and Uncle Dar. You will be missed dearly.

Rosemary was always one of my favorite people at the Health Department. As I trim our Christmas tree each year I say a special prayer for her as I unwrap a white crocheted bell she  made for many of her fellow employees YEARS ago.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time of sorrow.  I remember all of the Scaias from your visits to Uncle Al and Aunt Doe on Kinne Street when I was a child.  I had the pleasure of visiting Aunt Rose at the nursing home several months ago and was so touched by how sweet and loving she was. -- Just as I remembered her.
