I'm sorry to find out so late about the death of Rob.  I was just thinking about him because I heard today that aone of the guys on the crew I worked on before I left due to arthritis and health issues just retired and Rob came to mind.  I was in 6402 and my ex- husband and I spent lot of hours with Rob and Gini and at the Hall.  I'm in KC so I don't hear things like I should.  We spent a lot of time at conventions.  I'll miss him, rip Rob Love Cheryl Maddox

Rob was my 1st cousin. Im our earlier years he would come to Inman and stay at his grandpa Loepps place and after that come to our farm and stay a week at our place. This is were we began our keen cousins relationship.we talked alot about what cars we would get when we got older. We agreed always a Ford product. As we got older and we got our cars we'd dress up cool lookin and go drag main in Hutch. He tought me how to shine up shoes. They were so shinny you could almost see. Your face kn them .Then once id go stay at his placce and wed go to Joy Land Park and ride every ride and the roller coaster twice or more and of course look at the good looking gals. 
Once when he came to my placei was going to show him my new Daisey air rifle. I got it out of our wash house and came out and said stick up your hands and he wouldnt and thinking it wasnt cocked pulled the trigher and shot him right next to his belly button. He fell to the ground and screemed and hollerd . I thought he was dying. Ss it was he got up and the bb fell on the gtound. It was a good lesson for me to never  point a gun at someone you dont wast to shoot. I could go on on and on but you get the idea how us cousins enjoyed each other.

So sorry to hear of Rob’s passing. We were often times on opposite sides of an issue but I always respected Rob’s desire to protect his members and to listen to both sides. There were times when we worked together to help an employee and resolve an issue before it became much larger. My condolences and prayers go out to Tony and the rest of Rob’s family. 

When I remember Rob, I think of his big laugh and his swag. Never in a rush, always time to listen . So many great memories, but every time I hear Kenny Rogers song Lady, always think of Rob. Rest in peace high on that mountain! Prayers Tony for you and your family.

Rob was a neighbor of mine for many years, and my daughter and my wife would mow his lawn once in awhile and do little things for him, when I heard he didn't have much time I went over to his house and pray the sinner's prayer with him and he accepted Jesus into his heart and passed away an hour and a half later I'm just so thankful he gave his life to Jesus before he passed          

Tony, I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Rob. My condolences to you & the family. Rob was my union brother but also like a big brother to me. I have so many memories that I will cherish from the 80's & early 90's. Fly high my friend. RIP.
