Robert L. "Bob" Hoffman

Hoffman, Robert L. “Bob”, 89 loving father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away March 3, 2015. Bob was born to Ethelyn and Gustavus Adolphus “G.A.” in Douglass, Kansas. He was a sheet metal worker/foreman and member of Sheet Metal Local 29 for 62 years. He retired from Central Air Conditioning, Inc. in 1989. In 1992 he purchased land in Elk County for hunting, fishing, and family recreation. For the next twenty three years the “farm” named Tick Ridge after the county school in the area was the location of countless joyful gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters and his wife Doris. He leaves behind a daughter, Carla Jacobs (Steve), son, Robin Hoffman (Jeane), grandchildren, Andy Hoffman (Tami) and Dorie Shandy (Trey), and great grandchildren, Lilly and Henry Robert Hoffman. Visitation is 5 to 8 pm Thursday and funeral service is 100 pm Friday, March 6 both at Resthaven Mortuary.
