Robert LeRoy Keifer

Robert L (Bob) Keifer., 84 passed away July 17, 2014. He was born Feb. 16, 1930 to Roy and Wilma (Goebel) Keifer in Kiowa, KS. On June 04, 1949 he married Doris Scott in Kiowa, KS. Robert was a Vietnam Veteran and retired as a Master Sgt. in United States Air Force. He loved serving his country and spending time with his family and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and great-grandson Isaiah Kamke. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Doris Keifer; son, Raymond (Linda) Keifer, Park City, KS, daughter, Regina (Howard) Kamke, Tacoma, WA; brothers, Don (Sandra) Keifer, Springdale, Ark, Terry Keifer, Houston, TX; sisters, Ruth Ann (Tom) Beard, Wichita, KS, Gerry Rubin, Webster Grove MO, grandsons, Allan (Ilona) Kamke, Jonathan (Brooke) Kamke, David (Autumn) Kamke, 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation 1-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 W. 13th St. Wichita. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Valley Center United Methodist Church, 550 N. Park Ave. Interment will follow at Kechi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the Park City Church of the Nazarene, 2100 E. 61st N, Park City, KS 67219.
