Burch, Robert L., a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, with 25 years of service died March 29, 2022 at the age of 93. He was born in Emporia, Kansas on May 25, 1928. His parents were Asa Ray Burch and Maudie (Sufficool) Burch.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Genevieve (Bakes) Burch; his two sons, Robert, Jr., and Howard; his second wife, Margaret Turner-Burch; step-daughter, Trish Bajaj; and nephew Bill Rambo.
Robert is survived by niece, Marilyn (Gary) Watkins; step-daughters, Colleen Bonar, Karen Crumm, and Kathleen (Dannie) Franks; and 7 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at DeVorss, Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic, on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3030 N. Amidon Ave., Wichita, KS 67204. Interment will follow immediately at Resurrection Cemetery.
