Rob was a lifelong mechanic and enjoyed working on big diesels in particular. His knowledge of vehicle engines was vast and many sought out his advice. He enjoyed life and had a special place in his heart for babies and older folks. Rob had a great sense of humor and was known to pull pranks.
Left to miss him are his wife of 27 years Melody; his beloved dog, Champ; son, Bud; daughter, Amanda and granddaughter, Fallon; Step-children, Candy, Jarid, Breea and Ricky; brother, Lyle and his sisters, Linda, Sherry, Peggy, and Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son Chuck; parents Bud and Faye Brooks, and sister, Tammy.
Rob had many friends and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. We lost an original caring and intelligent man who will be sorely missed.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 12:00pm at Maize Park Cemetery,
13332 West 53rd St., N., Maize, KS. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Spears Restaurant, 4323 W. Maple St., Wichita, KS.
