Ricky "Rick" D. Emley

Ricky "Rick" D. Emley, 63, of Wichita, Kansas went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 6, 2021 in Wichita. Ricky was born the sixth of nine siblings to Richard and Viola Emley on June 7, 1957 in Wichita. Rick was a very generous, kind and giving person. He always carried cash to give out to people in need and he gave to numerous charities. He followed in his fathers footsteps and had a long successful career in the construction industry, ending his career with H.W. Lochner as an inspector. Ricky loved Jesus and the scripture, it gave him great comfort and joy throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Marsha Langloys. Survivors include his daughter; Angelica Law, grandchildren; Nathaniel, Natausha, and Gabriel, siblings; Sue Rolfe of AR, Larry (Gail) Emley, Kathy (Chip) Manning, Paula (Bill) Ridenour, Bruce (Sheila) Emley of LA, Roger (Pat) Emley of Oxford, KS, James Emley and numerous extended family. Celebration of Life service will be 10am on Fri. June 11, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th St., Wichita. Burial will follow at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi, KS. Memorials can be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
