Richard Henry Hodge

Richard “Henry” Hodge, age 87, retired Kansas Turnpike Authority Collection Supervisor, WWII Navy Veteran, member of the Masons Albert Pike Lodge #303, and former Boeing Aircraft employee, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 23rd, 2010. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 to 6 PM with funeral services Monday, Nov. 29th, 1:00 PM, both at Hillside Mortuary East, 935 N. Hillside. Richard was born on May 25th, 1923 in Rutledge, TN. Preceded in death by his parents Milton and Annie of Grainger County, TN., Wife of 53 years Juanita, daughter Janetta, and sister Lucy Bates of Rutledge, TN. He is survived by son Rick (Terri), step-granddaughters Jayme and Jordan Wiley of Kansas City, granddaughter Natalie (John) Grant, great-granddaughters Madeline, Hannah, and Ella of Wichita, companion Martha Sorrell of Wichita, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins in TN.
