Rex A. Jester, age 82, passed away August 5, 2020. Born to Max and Mable Jester in Wichita, Kansas. Rex served in the United States Air Force and retired owner of, Lighting Express Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeanetta Jester; and daughter, Lee Rene Beyer. Rex is survived by his son, Craig (Cindy) Jester of Goddard, Kansas; daughter, Tanya Hunt of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Max (Kay) Jester of Wichita, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorials can be made to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and to, Disabled American Veterans, 3011 S. George Washington Blvd, Wichita, KS 67210. Come and go visitation will be available from 9AM-4PM, Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. A private family graveside service will be held for Rex.
