was born in the Dutch East Indies on April 16, 1930 to Jean & Hermien Rancuret. Raymond passed away at age 91 on May 24, 2021 in Wichita, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Marcel & Lucienne, first wife of 51 years Joyce T. Rancuret, infant daughter Marie Claudette, and infant granddaughter Caroline Ann Riggs.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Beverly; sister Louise Geise Rancuret of Belgium; son Vince (Carrie) Rancuret, their sons Paul and Keith and their families; and daughter Michele (Scott) Riggs, their 4 daughters Jessica, Megan, Molly, and Monica and their families; step daughters Kaline, Bridget, and Ann and their families.
Ray was a man of strong faith and love of family. He enjoyed soccer and travel. He was passionate about working with the Delano Neighborhood Association and Mennonite Housing. Those who knew him can attest to his love, compassion, and the wisdom that came from his heart. Professionally, he was the Risk Manager at the former St. Francis Hospital for many years.
A public Recitation of the Rosary will be held Thursday, May 27 at 7 pm and a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 28 at 1 pm, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 149 S. Millwood, Wichita, Ks. Private graveside service will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic school and Priests of The Sacred Heart.
