Norman Charles Vickers "Vic", retired Norm Vickers Excavating owner/operator passed away March 16, 2023. He was born in Alva, Oklahoma on October 7, 1927 to Clifford and Irene Vickers who preceded him in death along with his wife, Bernice F. Vickers and four brothers, Max, Don, Larry and Leon Vickers.
Vic was a World War II Veteran and a lifelong member of VFW 112. He also was a 50+ year member of Masonic Lodge #433 and a member of the Wichita Consistory & Midian Shrine.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin; step-children, Pat Loder of Kansas City, MO., Joan Rapp of Wichita and Don Stockdale of Raleigh N.C.; eight grandkids; and seven great-grandkids.
Graveside service for Vic will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 23, 2023 with visitation thirty minutes prior at Lakeview Funeral Home & Cemetery in the Mausoleum, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Midian Shrine Temple - Plane of Mercy, 130 Topeka Street, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
