Nancy Jean (Sewing Lucas) Blake, born November 1, 1946 passed away July 15, 2021 at the age of 74. Nancy was a retired AT & T employee, working as a service representative, manager and executive throughout her 35 years with the company. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, liked watching NASCAR racing, traveling, and taking cruises. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband Gordon Lucas, Sr., and husband Jack Clayton Blake; step sons Gordon Lucas, Jr. and Terrence Lucas; father Marvin “Bud” Sewing and mother Marjorie Sewing. She is survived by her sister Vickie Sewing (Janis Rutschman), Step daughters Kylie Lucas Cerda and Ginger Kellog-Harper, step-son Randy Lucas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 1-5pm Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Resthaven Mortuary. Graveside service will be held 10am Wednesday, July 21 at Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W 47th St S, Wichita, KS 67215. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 861 North Socora St., Wichita, KS 67212.
