Morris, son of Lillian Alice (Bennett) and Orville Clinton Thacker, was born on October 14, 1935. He was the youngest of 4 children.
Morris married Betty, the love of his life, on the 6th of September in 1955. Together they had 7 children.\
He was a truck driver for many years and he was a switchman for Rock Island Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Betty and sons, Don and Arlen Thacker.
Morris is survived by son, Larry (Nannette) Thacker; daughters: Judy (Randall) Elliott, Tina (David) Prill, Becky (Bill) Brutchin, and Iva Williams; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service, June 7th at 1pm, Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of the Lord's Prayer, Lot 233D, Space 3,11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas, 67209.
