Manlove, Morgan L., 29, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas. Morgan was born on February 24, 1987 the daughter of Roshelle M. (Smith) Ford and Marion R. Manlove. Morgan graduated from Southeast High School in Wichita, class of 2005. She attended the William Allen White School of Journalism at Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas, and earned a bachelor of science with an emphasis in strategic communications, class of 2010. While she was attending Kansas University, she worked as a customer service associate at Capital Federal, Lawrence, Kansas. Upon graduation, she continued working as a customer service associate at Capital Federal in Andover, Kansas and was promoted to assistant manager. During some of this time, she served as a United Way Loaned Executive. When she left Capital Federal, she accepted a position as assistant manager with Mid American Credit Union at the northeast location, Wichita, Kansas. She was promoted to manager during her illness with ovarian cancer. Morgan had an eye for talent in friends and family, and a gift for developing them into more than they knew they were. She left behind an enormous collection of people that she nurtured with great care. At times, it has been almost overwhelming to acknowledge all of the well wishes, tributes, gifts, plants, and flowers that she received both during her journey to find a cure and after accepting that cancer was going to take her. Her strength was unfailing, her courage was endless. She faced the stress of her difficult circumstances with grace, and used the pressure to turn into a diamond; she was her best possible self. Her family and friends could not be prouder, or love her more. She is already deeply missed. Morgan left an amazing legacy for her short years and the ripples of change that she made will continue infinitely to be felt into eternity. She is now gone and at peace; she will never be forgotten and her positive influence will live on through the lives of those who had the honor to know her. The Princess Warrior has physically left us, but she has not left our hearts and minds. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold Manlove. Survivors include Roshelle and Bill Ford, mother and stepfather, Wichita, Kansas; Marion and Jan Manlove, father and stepmother, Clearwater, Kansas; Jeanetta and Eric Wofford, stepsister and her husband, Erykah Wofford, niece, Jailynd Wofford, nephew, Wichita, Kansas; Monica and Kyle Wolf, half sister and her husband, Zachery Wolf, nephew, Manhattan, Kansas; Kade McDiffett, stepbrother, Marissa McDiffett, neice, Rose Hill, Kansas; Kiel McDiffett, stepbrother, Wichita, Kansas; Drew McDiffett, stepbrother, Madison McDiffett, niece, Wichita, Kansas; Nelle Manlove, grandmother, Wichita, Kansas; Marvin and Mary Manlove, uncle and his wife, Lenexa, Kansas; Lauri and Mike Clapper, cousin and her husband, and their children Rachel, Merriam, Benjamin, David, and Gabriel, Lenexa, Kansas; Brett Manlove, cousin, Lenexa, Kansas; Kari Manlove, cousin, Seattle, Washington; Ron and Sue Smith, grandfather and grandmother, Wichita, Kansas; Ramsey Smith, uncle, Duluth, Minnesota. She also believed very strongly in the mission of the United Way and enjoyed her time of service to them. Donations to this organization would be an appropriate alternative.
