Michael D. Shipman 70, passed away October 17, 2017. Michael was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and later in life he became a loyal Wranglers and Wingnuts season ticket holder. He enjoyed spending time with friends at Catholic Charities Adult Day Center. Michael is preceded in death by four-legged friends, Sparky, Shasta, Killer, and Rusty; parents, Daryl and Inez Shipman; and sister, Pamela R. Hodge. He is survived by four-legged friend, Ty; sister, Charlotte (Mike) Harryman; nieces, Lara Shamblin, April Lyerla and Kimberly Bailey; great nephews, Benjamin, Isaiah and Brandon. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017. Funeral service 3 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 both at Resthaven Mortuary. Please feel free to wear your Cowboy Blue in honor of Michael.
