Michael worked as a Precision Engineer and created custom prototype pipe parts with superior quality. He was involved with constructing parts for the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as many other high profile jobs. He was a member and volunteer of Immanuel Baptist Church, and enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and most of all traveling cross country with his family in his RV. He could be a complicated and strong willed man, but he was incredibly devoted and ever present in his family's lives. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Helen, and parents, Albert E. and Dorothy Trammell. He is survived by son, Michael O. McDonald; granddaughter, Samantha (Houston) Davis; grandson, Christopher McDonald; great-grandchildren, Brileigh, Brooks, Beau Davis; and sister, Janice Ross.
His graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Garden of the Cross.
