Michael Lloyd Consolver, age 83, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Michael was born February 6, 1939 in Wichita, Kansas to Daisy J. Woods-Consolver and Beal G. "Tex" Consolver.
Mike was elected a life member of the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA) in May 16, 1965. He had a 30+ year career in the PGA - first at Swope Park in Kansas City, MO and then MacDonald Park Golf Course in Wichita, KS.
In recent years, if you were ever looking for him around 2:00pm - you could always find him in the BINGO room sitting front and center with his friend John.
He shared a love of walking with his best buddy Max, a French Bulldog, who was always at his side.
He was a very proud grandparent.
Mike is survived by his daughter Cindy Allen (David); son Michael T. Consolver (Amy); daughter Teri L. Ward; grandchildren TJ Angleton (Amanda), Chris Angleton (Lindsey), Savannah Consolver, Caroline Consolver, Jackson Consolver, Tylin Schrant (Tyler) and Ashley Waggoner (Matt); great grandchildren Elyse, Ecee, Enzley, Esten, Allen, Steven, Barrett, Hayleigh, Madison, and Isabelle
.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Beal G. "Tex" Consolver; mother Daisy J. Woods-Consolver; great grandchildren Allison and Addison Schrant; and best buddy Max.
A visitation for Mike will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 N. Webb Rd, Wichita, KS 67206.
Mike will be laid to rest in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N Oliver Ave, Wichita, Kansas; Masonic Garden.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Angleton, David Allen, Tyler Schrant, Jackson Consolver, Tylin Schrant, Savannah Consolver, honorary pallbearers Caroline Consolver, Ecee Angleton, Elyse Hartley and Enzley Angleton.
