Mary Ann Wulf, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, died quietly on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born November 17, 1934 in Electra, Texas, the daughter of Daniel Forrest and Arwilder Evelyn (Campbell) Pogue.
Mary worked many years as a court reporter. Many of those years were spent working at the juvenile court house as a Certified Court Reporter for the Honorable Robert Morrison. Mary loved to travel, as she travelled to 49 states - all except Alaska - and also to Canada and Mexico. She enjoyed to sing, dance, read, cook, paint, and quilt. She loved to spend time in her beloved Rockies in Colorado. She was of service to others in many ways, including serving meals at church. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family - cooking, playing cards or scrabble, holding babies, and generally just loving all of them.
Mary was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Wichita, KS (now City Life Church).
She is preceded in death by: her parents; her 11 siblings; husband, Sheldon L. Wulf; along with her son, Lt. G. Bruce Wulf.
She is survived by: Pamela Smith (Charles Deceased), Julie (Wife of Bruce), Melissa (Michael), Lincoln (Kindred), and Eldon (Mary). Mary was a loving grandmother to Cindy (Jeff), Aaron (Lori), Emma (Randy), Katie, Hannah (Tyler), Bruce (Madeline), Harrison, Anthony, and Madison; 15 great-grandchildren; along with her dear friend, Robert Summers.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Lord's Prayer, Wichita.
