Mary C. Ferguson-Lewis

Ferguson-Lewis, Mary Cathryn “Cathy,” 74, Homemaker, passed Friday, December 28, 2012. She was born March 14, 1938 in Fredonia, Kansas to William and Ruth Loflin.

Cathy was an avid bowler and gambler. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and hosting family gatherings. Spending time with family was one of her very favorite things, as long as it wasn’t during Jeopardy!!! She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Bud Ferguson, her parents, Ruth and Bill Loflin, her brothers, Max Loflin and Dean Loflin and sister, Dimalea Milner. She is survived by her husband of 7 years, Larry Lewis of the home; her sons, Bob (Connie) Purnell, Wichita, Scott Ferguson, Atlanta, GA.; daughter, Cindy (Frank) Brown, Oxford, KS.; step-son, Keli (Tami) Lewis, Wichita; brother, Jim (Lois) Loflin, Halstead; sister, Avonelle Schweda, Wichita; grandchildren, Vanessa (Shawn) Jakovac, Jacob Brown, Brett and Ryan Purnell, Brandon Pugh, Audrey Lewis; great-grandchildren, Braden Jakovac, Clara Jakovac. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved her and already truly miss her.
