

Rupp, Marcellus “Mark”, 88, retired brick mason, peacefully passed to his eternal reward at home on Saturday July 4th 2015, surrounded by his family. Visitation, eulogy, & rosary services scheduled for Thursday July 9th, 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial Friday July 10th, 10:00 AM, both at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 N 119th Street W. Mark is a World War II Veteran who served on the USMM SS Plattsburg in the Pacific Operation, Charter Member of Knights of Columbus Council #4118, & 65-Year Service Award Honoree from Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Assn. Mark was born on November 20th 1926, Antonino KS. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Sophia (Pfannenstiel) Rupp; brothers: Marcellus, Severin (Alice), Harry (Terry), Virgil, & Henry (Betty); sisters: Alice (Ambrose) Herrman, Sandra (Ken) Moore, Irene (Clarence) Leiker, Mary (EW “Lefty” Werth), Ann Cox, & Pauline (Mark) Weigel; & grandson Jacob Rupp. Survived by his wife Pat of 66 years; his son Guy (Margie) Rupp; daughters: Marcia (Dave) Wasinger & Chris Ketzner; grandchildren: Neil (Priscilla) Rupp, Stephen & Matthew Rupp, Jason (Krista) Wasinger & Sister Mary Agnes Wasinger IHM, Kelsey & Megan & Grant Ketzner; great-grandchildren: Lucy & Marc Wasinger; sisters: Lucille Rupp-Shanahan, Zita (Bob) Zimmerman, & Cathy (Jack) Geyer; & brother-in-law Mark Weigel. Internment with Military Honors follows at Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent, Harry Hynes Hospice, & Alzheimer Assn, all of Wichita.
