Lupe “Jane” Garcia, 84, retired sheet metal assembly work for over 25 years at Cessna passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Jane was a longtime and devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a life member of Sheet Metal Assembly at Cessna. She enjoyed many bus trips and casino outings with her sister Donna Duran (who survives her), the two were inseparable.
Preceded in death by her parents Vecente and Julia Martinez, loving husband of 60 years Julian “Joe”, son David, five brothers and one sister. Survived by her children, son Mike Garcia (Brenda) of Wichita, daughter Dr. Julia Irwin ( Dr. Derek) of Norman, OK, son Aerospace Engineer Dan Garcia (Susan) of Tucson, AZ, sister Donna Duran of Wichita, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
Rosary 7:30pm, Tuesday, Feb. 11th, Funeral Mass 11am, Wednesday, Feb. 12th both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 145 S. Millwood, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
