Lorraine Wagner, age 89, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019. Lorraine was born June 8, 1929 in Wichita, the daughter of Glenn and Roe Zella (Mills) Wilson. On June 28, 1949, Lorraine married Howard Wagner, in Wichita, KS. Early in their marriage, Lorraine worked at Bell Telephone. After starting a family, Lorraine stayed home to raise their children and tended to the home. Lorraine enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, taking her daily walks, raising and showing chickens, and caring for all types of animals. She was also an avid bowler and was in league bowl at West Acres and Fireside Lanes. Lorraine enjoyed going to garage sales and collecting owls, Care Bears, Disney, M&M and other various collectables. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; and a brother, Gene Wilson. Survivors include: children, Marilyn (Rick) Dickens, Phoenix, AZ, David Wagner, Augusta, KS, Rhonda (Tony) Harrison, Kevin (Tammy) Wagner, all of Wichita, KS; siblings, Gary (Diane) Wilson, Washington, D.C., Glenda Hurlock, Wichita, KS, and Carol (Mike) Bowen, Bend, OR; grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, James, Jessica, Kaitlin, Emily, Lori, Aaron, Amanda, and Savannah; and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 20, at DeVorss-Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic. Burial will follow in Wichita Park Cemetery.
