Lois Jean Thompson 89, passed away April 24, 2017. Lois was born in Wichita on December 5, 1927 to Clarence and Ida Berry. She graduated from North High School. She married Oliver Eugene and they had one son, Ron Thompson; they later divorced. Lois Jean worked as a secretary at Tenneco, retiring after over 20 years with the company. She is survived by son, Ron Thompson; and grandson, Lowell C. Thompson. Lois Jean was preceded by her parents; daughter-in-law, Carol L. Thompson; and grandson, Matthew A. Thompson. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Friends of Felines.
