Linda grew up in Wichita, KS and attended Wichita East High School. Linda met the love of her life, Samir Taha at 16 years old and they married on March 27th, 1976. They had two daughters, Samar and Sabeena, who were the joy of Linda’s life. Linda has always been “mom” to many of her daughters’ friends. She was just that way, easy to be around, loving and always understanding, never judging. She was the type of person who made you feel at ease and confident to be your true self. So, it was no surprise when Ernesto became part of the family in 2002. Linda was a lover of music and a lover of all people. Her favorite name was “Tata or Tattie” as she was called by her grandkids, who were the light of her life. Linda will be immensely missed by her family and friends near and far.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Ross Francisco Sr.
Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Samir Taha of Wichita, KS; her mother, Anita Francisco of Wichita, KS; daughters, Samar (Jake) Edenfield of Andover, KS and Sabeena (Jason Post) Taha of Andover, KS; son, Ernesto Palma of New York City, NY; grandchildren, Tayten Edenfield, Lucille Edenfield, Mason Holcomb, Jaxon Post and Adelaide Post; siblings, Diana (Tom) Herberger, Cheryl Wilks and Ross Francisco; nieces, Ameena Taha, Adria (Jeremy) Taha-Resnick, Angela (Tom) Taha-Naef, Jennifer (Kevin) West, Alya (Zach) Allen, Abby Herberger, and Mystica Taha; nephew, Alexander Herberger; as well as many dear friends.
