He married the love of his life Billie in 1990. Together they shared 33 years of marriage. Leon worked as a machinist for the aircraft industry and retired in 2020. He was a very dedicated employee; he never missed a day.
He loved his toys; building and competing with radio-controlled airplanes and boats, riding his Harley with his friends, restoring John Deere tractors which he used for tractor pulls. In retirement he enjoyed woodworking with his lathe. He loved the outdoors, riding his electric bike, and camping at Cheney Lake. And most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rowena.
Leon leaves behind his wife Billie; four bonus children; Michele Faber, Angie (Blake) Ester, Nikki Morris, and Brandon Faber; 8 grandchildren, Isaac, Elijah, Lucas, Ashlyn, Alyssa, Tori, Christion, and Ginger; father Gordon Bailey; 3 siblings, twin LeAnn (Mel) Burrous, Marcy (David) Peter, Greg (Stacey) Bailey; Uncle Roger "Pete" (Linda) Bailey; Aunt Jean Bailey and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
