Laura attended school in Pond Creek and graduated high school in Gore, Oklahoma.
She settled in Wichita Kansas with her husband Charlie Drinkard. Together they both worked at Beech Aircraft until retirement.
She was preceded in death parents, husband Charlie Drinkard, brothers, Richard "Dick" (Beatrice) "Betty" Thomas, Jim (Betty) Thomas, sisters Leona (Cecil) Seifert and Elizabeth (Joe) Mueller.
She is survived by nieces Betty (Thomas) Hendrix and Karen Rader; nephews, Jerry Cate, Joe Thomas, David Thomas and Tommie Pearce; sister-in-law Christine (Drinkard) Cate and her husband Harvey "Sonny"; great- nephews, Dennis Lee Hendrix, Harry L. Aspell, Jackie McCormick; great nieces Tammy Aspell, Tracy Pearce and Rhonda McCormick as well as numerous friends.
She was loved dearly and will be missed.
A visitation will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022, a funeral service for Laura will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
