Williams, Larry J., 80, retired Wichita Fire Dept. Battalion Chief and Navy veteran passed away on October 28, 2013. Larry was a great role model for his family and friends and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and camping. Preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Gladys Williams; wife of 54 years, Rosa Mae Williams; granddaughter, Jessica Williams-Smith and great grandson, Caleb A. Smith. Survived by his children Jeff (Tami) Williams, Rick (Allison) Williams and Vicky (Eddie) Bullins; brothers, Bill (Marilyn) Williams, Gene (Nadine) Williams; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral service is 10:00 am Thursday, October 31 at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
