Clifty, Arkansas to Floyd Clark and Lillie Harrison. He spent the majority of his life in Wichita.
A North High graduate, he married his High School sweetheart, Dixie Smith. They were married over 60
years, and have one son, Craig, of Branson.
Keith was a U.S. Navy veteran and when he returned from overseas, he started working at KG&E, where he spent his entire 40-year career.
Keith became a member of the Masons in 1963, and Keith and Dixie were active members of Asbury United Methodist Church for many years. He read his bible every day, reading it cover-to-cover—when finished, he’d start over again.
Keith was an avid golfer, photographer, and his yard was immaculate due to his love of landscaping.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife Dixie; sisters Maxine Green and Jackie Cole.
He is survived by his son Craig; his sister Terry Johnson (Tom) of Wichita; nephews Chad Smith of Seattle, WA, Wade Smith of Wichita, and David Vanhook of Forum, AR; nieces Debbie Harned of Mountain Home, AR, and Willie Harrell (Forrest) of Houston, TX and their families; and his constant canine companion Ellie Mae.
Viewing from 2 to 3pm Tuesday, Mar 1st, at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita. Service following at 3pm in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67220.
