Preceded in death are his Grandparents Delores M Bowling and Richard E Baker. Uncles Rick Bowling and Kevin Bowling, and Aunt Diane Letcher.
Kerry leaves for now many that will cherish his memory including his beloved daughters he loved more than life; Tierra Purdy, Hailee Bowling, and Maliha Bowling.
He also leaves behind his parents Kerry R Bowling Sr and Denise E. Getzel. Grandparents Lyle G Bowling and Joan M Baker. Siblings Jenafer Jackson, Danielle (David) Long, Lyla (Justin) Dean, Kayla (Joshua) Caston, Quentin Getzel. A very special cousin that was in many ways considered a brother, Jason (Jennifer) Bowling, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
During his lifetime, Kerry worked with several construction crews where he learned to operate heavy equipment along with other skills of the trade. Later he moved on to renovate homes, which was a skill he was most proud of. Kerry held many hobbies. Kerry was always “tinkering” in the garage on a project or vehicle; He never met a vehicle he couldn’t repair or supe up. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing. If not at work, he enjoyed watching a Bears game, Nascar, or hockey.
His sarcastic and colorful sense of humor kept us all in stitches. He had a knack for not sugar coating anything. He shared his passion for politics and opinions unapologetically.
One thing we know beyond a shadow of a doubt Dad is your love will go on with us in those important moments, and love lives forever. You will forever be a part of us and will forever be missed. We are forever “Daddy’s Girls.”
Love moves, it changes form. Love is eternal, it lives forever. While it grieves us you are gone, you will always be loved and never be forgotten.
