Kenn "Kenny" Sharp, 74, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at home. Kenn was born September 14, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa, to George and Marjorie (Coe) Sharp. Kenn was a Air Force veteran and member of VFW post #3115. He worked as a teacher at Wilbur Junior High and Wellington High schools, as well as schools in Nebraska and Iowa. Kenn owned and operated Westlink Supper Club, Rockport, Blazers and Full Moon Saloon, where he enjoyed entertaining and playing piano and singing. Those left to honor his memory include his son, John Paul Sharp of Seattle, WA; adopted son, Preston Kraft, brother, Donald Sharp, Sr., sister, Mary Sharp and uncle, Kay Sharp all of Wichita, KS; and lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marjorie; and daughter, Valerie Sharp. A Celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary with reception following.
