Alexander, Kenneth L., 95, of Wichita, Kansas passed away peacefully at home on Sat. June 25, 2016 surrounded by family. Kenneth was born on September 8, 1920 in McCune, Kansas the son of George and Anna Alexander. Kenneth and Hope Alexander were united in marriage on September 12, 1942 in Wichita. Together they celebrated 73 years of marriage. Kenneth retired as a computer programmer in the aircraft industry. He was longtime member of First Nazarene Church in Wichita and was active in the work and witness trips around the world. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Paul, George Vernon and Oran Alexander. Survivors include his loving wife, Hope Alexander of Wichita, children, Nancy Brennan of Wichita, Gwen (Mark) Markham of Wichita, Darol Alexander of Arrey, New Mexico, siblings, Leroy (Betty) Alexander of Utah, Nina Good of Wichita, 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Visitation with family present will be on Wednesday June 29, 2016 from 6 to 8pm at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Funeral services will be 2pm on Thursday June 30, 2016 at First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 E. Kellogg Dr., Wichita. Memorials can be made to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or First Church of the Nazarene’s Work and Witness Mission Trips.
