Karen L. Day

Karen L. Day, age 76, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. She was born on February 28, 1947, to parents Edward and Dixie Weippert in Wichita, KS. Karen was married to Robert Day until his passing in 2019. Karen loved to sew, read, and travel. She worked in retail for many years.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children, Karen Michelle (Jeremy) Hicks, Michael (Charissa) Day, and Catherine Herndon, Her siblings Linda (Michael) Weippert, and Edward (Niki) Weippert, Three nieces and nephews, Five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A graveside service for Karen will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver St., Wichita, KS 67208.
