Junior "J.R." W. Watson, 82, Retired U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt., Aircraft maintenance mechanic, passed away December 13, 2015. He was a member of VFW Post #112, served in the Korean Conflict and Viet Nam War, retired from the Air Force after 22 years. He loved to fish, dance, and was a master raftsman. He was preceded by wife, Alicia; sons Johnny and Bobby Watson. He is survived by wife, Patricia; son Juno "Slim" Watson, II; daughters Peggy (Jeremy) Glass and Lee (Jerry) Watson-Wilson; step-son, Scott Murray step-daughter, Michelle Wixson; 11 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Visitation 5-7 Friday, December 18 and service will be held 3 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 both at Resthaven Mortuary.
