Josephine "Josie" (Schneider) Chairez

Josephine “Josie” M. Schneider-Chairez, passed away on Monday January 2, 2023. She was a friend to many, raised five amazing children, had six beautiful grand-babies and the seventh on the way all which she loved mucho. She was a family woman. Her brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren were everything to her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith I. Logan, as well as her two brothers, Anthony I. Schneider and David W. Tiger. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Andres (Carley) Chairez, Marcial Chairez II, Daniel Garcia, Mariah S. Rodriguez and Ariana J. Garcia. Her beloved grandchildren Lilly, Xavier, Julian, Olivia, AJ, Christian and one grandbaby on the way due in February 2023. Her sister Celia Dunigan, sister Karla S. Logdson (Craig). Nieces Courtney and Chelsea, great niece Aubrey, great nephews Payten, Landyn, Remy and many more family and friends. The family will miss her dearly.

She was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She was an awesome woman. She was loving, selfless, and a role model to many with good ethics and strong morals. Her best days were spent thrifting, shopping, crafting, hanging out with family, cooking and enjoying meals together. Josie created many things such as hair-bows, plant hangers, and blankets. She was an avid reader and one of her favorite authors was Danielle Steele. Josie welcomed all into her life with open arms and was such a fun person who loved to laugh.

Celebration Of Life Service at Lakeview Chapel will take place on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
