Joseph Rader, 88, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Wichita. Joseph was born the son of Joseph and Esther (Gray) Rader on February 19, 1935 in Stroud, OK. Joseph and Margaret Rader were united in marriage on October 21, 1961 in McKinleyville, CA. Joseph retired from The Aviation Pathway for USD 259 in 1998. He was a longtime member of the General Assembly Church of the Firstborn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Doyle Dean Rader of Oregon, sister; Irene Hays, daughter; Nancy Irene Lynch and her child Zachary Ryan Lynch.
Survivors include his loving wife; Margaret Rader, daughters; Betty JoAnn Light, Darla Kay Parks, sisters; Esther Mittie Kent, June Hevlin, brother; Elvin Melvin Rader, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and extended family.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 7, 2023 at General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, 3742 S. West St., Wichita, KS. Elder Brent McGraw and Edler Chris Mannis will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W. 47th St. S., Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.
