John James O’Gorman of Wichita, KS passed away on January 25, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born on March 21, 1936 in St. Louis, MO. John worked as Aeronautical engineer at Honeywell. He was actively involved in Church, family, grandkids and great grandkids life.
John is survived by his children: Charlotte McQueen, Donald O’Gorman (Teresa), Mike O’Gorman (Cathy); his brother, Gene O’Gorman and sisters: Peggy O’Gorman, Elizabeth Boyer. Grandchildren: Zachary, Chris, Sheena, Holly, Ashly, Meranda, Krista, Michael J. J., Rashelle and Kaylee; and his great grandchildren, Cali, Payton, Addison, Riley, Rayelle, Beau, Austin, Kinsley, Elias, Mackenzie, Morgan, Carter and Aria.
A visitation for John will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt Vernon UMC, 5701 E Mt Vernon St, Wichita, KS 67218 with a funeral service to follow. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 1, 2023 following the funeral service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
