John Richard Lembke 85, retired United States Army Veteran passed away May 8, 2017. He was preceded by infant son, Bruce Lembke; parents, Edward and Bernadine Lembke; and sister, Gloria Tuttle. John is survived by wife of 57 years, Judith Lembke; children, Jeffrey (Jackie) Lembke, Brent (Hector) Lembke, Sandra Beckham, and Susan Reiss; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 with visitation one hour prior at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice or Kansas Honor Flight.
