John Logan Hargis, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He was born on June 30, 1930 in Bolivar, MO. He was a longtime resident of Bentley, KS and was retired from Cessna Aircraft. He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (Gilden) Hargis and is survived by his son, Willie Hargis, grandson, Adrian Hargis, two granddaughters, Christina (Hargis) Compton & Tiffany (Hargis) Holder, and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday (January 12, 2013) from 11am – 2pm and Funeral Services will follow at 3pm both at Hillside Funeral Home West.
