John David Drummond

Dave attended Wichita High School South where he graduated with the class of 1975. After high school, he attended Aviational Vocational College where he studied Aviation Maintenance. Dave was employed at Boeing / Spirit for numerous years as an bond inspector.

Dave was an avid music fan and he listened to a variety of music, enjoyed the occasional outings to the casino with family and friends, watching different sports, including his favorite teams the St. Louis Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts, as well as doing crossword puzzles and reading a wide variety of books.

He is preceded in death by, his parents.

He is survived by: his son, Nathan Drummond (Rachel); his brother, Ricky Drummond; his sisters, Jan Clasen and Dana Drummond; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00 AM, both at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, 11800 W. US-54 Highway, Wichita, Kansas, with Pastor Tom Scott officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be designated to The American Cancer Society, in respect to John's family whom have passed from cancer or who have fought against it. 236 S. Topeka St., Wichita, Kansas, 67202.
