John P. Cummings, 93, retired from Boeing entered eternal rest on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015. John served in the Army Air Force during WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a lifetime member of VFW Post 3115.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary, daughter Martha Henderson and brother William Cummings. Survived by son John P. (Jodi) Cummings, II of Wichita, daughters Carol (Jim) Wheeler of Wichita, Nancy (Bob) Page of Topeka, sister Catherine Cummings of Pratt, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation 6pm-8pm, with Rosary at 7pm on Tuesday, Oct. 20th, Mass of Christian Burial, 10am, Wed., Oct. 21st both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
