Spaulding, Joe V., was born in Gotebo, OK, April 12th, 1921. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Freida Spaulding, sons Joe (Lynn) of Tacoma, WA, Dave (Jackie) of Wichita and Fred (Linda) of Kingwood, TX, 8 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren, brother Pat Spaulding, and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe and Freida were married July 10, 1942 in Vinita, OK. Shortly after, he entered the Army and served his country during WWII. They moved to Kansas in 1952 and later began Joe’s Sewer and Evacuation Service. It was the # 1 Sewer Service in Wichita for many years. He sold the business and moved to Arkansas in 1974. They eventually moved to Harlingen, TX and became missionaries at Valley Baptist Academy for 8 years. They made their way back to Wichita in 2003. Since that time they have been members of Westside Church of the Nazarene . We know Joe put his faith in Jesus and is walking the streets of gold. Glory to God and to the Lord Jesus Christ. Viewing Monday from 12-8:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, funeral service on Tuesday at Westside Church of the Nazarene at 10:00 am.
