Prayers to the family that I grew up around in Haysville

Pat,

I still remember the first time Joe shared with me the story about Ed.  It seems Joe packed Ed's parachute that Ed had to use on his first ever bailout.  I think it was the F100 in 1968.  Ed rewarded Joe with a fifth of Jack Daniels.  Guess Ed was the only one or one of a few to thank his chute packer after a bailout.

I will miss Joe at the Guard breakfasts.

I knew you for a short time, but I am thankful for the times that we got to see each other and talk. I enjoyed your parachute stories, even though you never could convince me to jump. Then we would talk about the mill where we both had worked and compared how things there had changed. These are just a few of the memories I will hold close to my heart. I will Love you always.

Thoughts and prayers for the family.  I met Joe when I first started my career in the Life Support Shop.  We spent many break and lunch times together.  He is in a great place with his father now.

I am so proud to have you as my father and so thankful that the Lord let me find you after all these years. I love you dearly and always will. I will truly miss you.

I most remember Joe's humor. I learned so much about upholstery from him the years we were together in the KS Air National Guard. My condolences to the family.

Condolences to Patricia and family. Joe was tough as nails on outside and a heart of gold on inside. Worked with Joe a number of years he was unique in many ways, a professional always. After his retirement he did some upholstery work for me, I'm sitting on a chair he reupholstered  a number of years ago, it's still like new. Strength through prayers be with you.
