Joe married the love of his life Tonja on July 25, 2002. Together they shared four children Juan Duran, Amanda Duran, Tori Llamas, and Melinda Miller.
Joe was a contract painter for the majority of his life.
Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, watching western movies and sports. He was a kind and giving man. He helped anyone and everyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years Tonja Duran; four children Juan Duran, Amanda Duran, Tori Llamas, and Melinda (Dwight) Miller; 14 grandchildren with one being his "Boy" Gabriel Duran; two siblings David Duran and Margaret Duran and multiple nieces and nephews, including his beloved niece Brianna Duran.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. followed by rosary at 7:00 p.m. both at The Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit 18218 US 54, Goddard, Kansas 67052. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. also at The Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory immediately following, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
