Joanna Hoy

Joanna Hoy, 91 retired telephone operator, passed away on August 8, 2014. She was born in Neodesha, KS, to Orlan and Sadie (McEwen) Carter. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dewey Hoy Jr, sister, Vivian Johnson; brother, Charles Carter. Survived by her sister, Janet Froebe, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 W. 13th St. Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Westside Christian Church, 1819 W. Douglas Wichita, KS 67213. Interment will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memory Cemetery.
